Facebook is planning to invest in  India from  a very long time few years back facebook is try to invest in india through Reliance Telecom but the deal will not come to an good end. At that facebook went back from india but again Facebook CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg Decided to finally invest in India but this time through India’s biggest telecom company RELIANCE JIO .  On 22nd April Finally Facebook invested 43574 Cr. In Reliance JIO.  How much this money is you can understand by this example. In Reliance Jio, Facebook  has invested so much money that ISRO’s Chandrayaan can go to the moon 44 times,  after that some money will also be saved. With this Deal Facebook get the 9.99% in Reliance Jio.

You will need to understand why Facebook choose only the Reliance JIO to invest that much amount of money. Why did Facebook Satisfies in less than 10% of the share by paying so much money? The promoter of Jio is Reliance Industries Limited. World’s major player in petrochemical business. One of the richest companies in India That’s why Jio’s launching was bang. The company initially enrolled in 4g gave internet at such speed at a very cheap price. Which had never happened in India before. Jio in 3and half years after commissioning services for common people occupy 34% of the market. Today, Jio runs India’s largest mobile network. It has built big data banks but now the company wants to move from 4G to 5G. The two targets are 5G and retail e-commerce. But in retail e-commerce, there is some crisis in front of Jio’s 4G explosion. Because there are already big players like Amazon and Flipkart in the fray, Amazon which is an international e-commerce platform and Flipkart which has been taken by Walmart. So Jio needed an X factor. And what was that X  factor was data and artificial intelligence. And this is where Facebook enters the story Facebook is a popular social networking website. But the exact data about people is with WhatsApp, its exact data is not with Facebook. WhatsApp is the most used messenger app in India, but coincidentally, WhatsApp is also belongs to Facebook. But having data does not mean that your messages have been printed out and kept on Facebook and WhatsApp. Data means user behaviour, what do you like, what do you like, what do you like to eat, what do you like, what do you not like, what kind bike you take after appraisal all these information. All these can be estimated on the basis of your data and Facebook’s Artificial Intelligence is mastered in estimating all these things. Facebook is a big name in the world of artificial intelligence. Till now, Facebook had everything, was not a big thing, it is the payment service. There was an attempt to introduce a payment service in WhatsApp. Permission has also been received from the National Payment Corporation of India. But the work has to be done in phases as RBI is quite concerned about the data using by  the WhatsApp of citizens living in India. It is a straightforward account that the government wants that if it is to do business in India, then keep the data in India. So that everything is under our supervision. WhatsApp is taking time in all these for this reason, Facebook is not able to use its data very well. How to not be able to say that today is your birthday and your friends want to give you a cake, through WhatsApp, Facebook will tell people directly that you are your birthday today and they will be able to buy the cake for you. This is the first time this thing is already being used in China and other countries. And that’s why Facebook wants all this work to be done in India through WhatsApp because if all this work starts in WhatsApp then using Facebook’s data the rest of the company will leave it behind Facebook. So that’s why Facebook has joined hands with Jio and WhatsApp is also included in this. What will happen with this, Facebook will get a place to keep data in India and Jio will get data and artificial intelligence for retail. Another advantage for Jio is that it has already sold a stake in the tower business. And now jio get some money to Facebook. Apart from this, Reliance Industries is looking to sell 20% stake in the refinery to Saudi. If this happens, then all the money invested in Reliance Jio will be pricked in the next 2 years and after that Reliance Jio can descend into 5G. Perhaps this is the reason why Facebook invested such a huge amount in Reliance Jio for just 9.99%.
